A Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE) course may be made a condition of your offer. This is likely to be the case should, for example, you have a degree in a subject that differs to the one that you wish to train to teach.
You may also be required to complete a Subject Knowledge Enhancement course should you not have used your degree knowledge for a number of years, or should you need to study a second language to a higher level.
The purpose of a Subject Knowledge Enhancement course is to develop your subject knowledge and confidence in the subject that you intend on training to teach.
