Our School Direct tuition fee route into teaching enables graduates to choose in which of our six partner schools they wish to train. We would expect our trainees to then obtain permanent employment within one of our schools, following successful completion of the programme.
Schools Direct offers the opportunity to spend the majority of time in school, learning directly from experienced professionals, from the very beginning. Depending on which subject you train to teach, Professional Studies will be provided by either the University of Roehampton, University College London (UCL) or St Mary's University. This involves university-centered training once a week. Through lectures, workshops and assignments the theoretical aspect of teaching and Professional Studies supports practice in the classroom, leading to a PGCE, QTS and 60 credits to the Masters.
Please note that you may be eligible to receive a bursary or scholarship while you train. For further information, please click here.
